Brandberg Dark Smoky Phantoms & 3 Enhydro's

This short prismatic crystal has excellent clarity displaying dark smoky phantoms throughout the quartz. Natural inclusions of negative quartz brightly reflects a lovely rainbow. There are 3 enhydro's trapped in individual chambers, no bigger than 1 mm with one of them in the termination the other two in the centre. The termination is intact but does have a very small ding that I feel hardly notices. Has a 'blow-out' a shattering from within during growth due to high temperatures, in a terminated face, the crystals has re-healed itself but shows a tiny hole into the quartz that has filled with surrounding clay and another smaller hole to the side. The surface of the quartz is very smooth and striated. The base has been cut to allow the crystal to stand upright. SKU000103 |
