Whether you are a browser or buyer remaining on MyAfricanMinerals.com website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policy as set out, for the duration on the website and every time you visit. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy. I reserve the right to refuse any sale item from my collection. I also reserve the right to change the terms and conditions policy at any time with immediate effect. I cannot be held liable if goods are confiscated / destroyed / damaged or returned by the receiving Country due to a Countries governments specific import regulations or due to the failure of delivery to the address by the service providers in good time and or not at all. I make every effort reasonably expected on the accuracy of the entire website and it's content. Where there are hyperlinks note I am not liable or responsible for the content, terms and conditions or the privacy policy of the hyperlinked site.

Information

Where referred to 'I', 'My' and 'Debbie' relates to Debbie Woolf owner of MyAfricanMinerals website and contents unless otherwise stated. Notified refers to contact via email and or a statement on the website. Service providers are the insurance company and postal delivery companies used. I take great care in the shipping of my specimens, after all they have already travelled overseas from South Africa with no breakages! I also want to ensure the specimen(s) not only arrives at your door in the same condition as displayed on the website but also via a reliable service no matter the cost or distance due to their delicate nature and value, to simplify this service all the associated costs are factored into the price, therefore the price in the description of a specimen is all you pay.

My Specimens

All specimens are the property of Debbie Woolf unless otherwise stated. I do not provide mounts or labels with my specimens, this information is in the description of each specimen and the PayPal invoice and is the responsibility of the buyer to note down / screenshot, as sold specimens will be removed in regular updates. Should an error occur where a specimen is mislabelled, Debbie will rectify this at her own expense if necessary. Also see the 'about me' page for informal details.

Orders and Purchases

Orders processed through the website system require a request or details sent by Debbie. Orders will be held for 7 days and returned for resale unless otherwise agreed. Orders and purchases are in the currency of GBP £. Purchases through PayPal are linked to Debbie's PayPal business account and will appear as MyAfricanMinerals. The payment request will act as your invoice unless you specify otherwise.

Hold / Reserve

Should a specimen take your fancy but you are unable to make payment at that moment please contact me, setting out your plan, for approval or further discussion with Debbie's decision being final.

Payment

Orders must be paid in full in GBP £ the currency of the website, prior to shipping unless otherwise agreed. On-line Banking Business Account – Cheques will not be accepted.

PayPal is my choice over 20 years never a problem. You do not require a PayPal account to be billed, if you would like to use a credit / debit card recognised by PayPal (see list below) this can be arranged. Your information is neither gathered or retained by MyAfricanMinerals website.

Post and Packaging

Parcels are sent out Monday to Friday only. If payment is over a weeked it will not be sent until Monday. Once payment has been received I will ship within 2 days if not the next day. Should I be unable to fulfil this policy the buyer will be notified. No parcel / package value will exceed the insured policy limit or weight limit of the service provider.

UK parcels will be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1 pm Elsewhere in the world using Royal Mail International Tracked & signed *

I will endeavour to ensure your purchased specimen(s) arrives in the same condition as represented by the photograph on the website of MyAfricanMinerals.com. You should receive your specimen well wrapped in eco friendly bubble. Delivery times are UK next day, Europe from 3 days and worldwide from 5 days as quoted by the service provider.

Returns and Refund Policy

I cannot be held liable if goods are confiscated / destroyed / damaged or returned by the receiving Country due to a Countries governments specific import regulations or due to the failure of delivery to the address by the service providers in good time and or not at all. I make every effort reasonably expected on the accuracy of the entire website and content. Should you wish to return your purchase due to error or disappointment or just a change of mind, I will refund the purchase price less the original shipping costs within 3 days of receipt of the returned parcel providing the following conditions are met ...

I am notified within 48 hours of delivery to the address on the package. The recipient is responsible for all the costs involved to return the package in its entirety using a track and trace service as similar to the service of the original shipment. All effort is taken to return the specimen(s) in the same condition it was sent.

Damaged in transit

I will endeavour to ensure your purchased specimen(s) arrives in the same condition as represented by the photograph on the website of MyAfricanMinerals.com. I am not responsible for any damage caused in transit but will refund the full purchase price within 3 days of receipt of the returned package, providing the following conditions are met ...

I am notified within 48 hours of delivery of the problem. The original packaging and specimen in it's entirety is posted for return within 7 days of the notification date via a track and trace service unless otherwise agreed. In the initial contact you have provided details such as a description of the damage and a digital image.

Law

The terms and conditions of MyAfricanMinerals is governed by English Law. The visitor to the website shall hereby agree to be bound by the jurisdiction of England's courts should a dispute arise and remain unresolved to the buyers satisfaction.

Health & Safety

Minerals can contain heavy minerals or toxins. Always handle with care. Do not absorb / inhale mineral dust, do not lick a mineral and always wash hands after handling specimens.

Shopping Cart

You must be 18 or over to use the shopping cart to buy Debbie's specimens and by proceeding to payment you are acknowledging you are above this age limit.

Photography

I am not a professional photographer, an amateur and try my best to represent each specimen using an Olympus camera. Photos are not to scale. Ensure you read the description for specimen sizes. I do not use stacking tools, or enhance colours in anyway. Monitors / device screens do not always accurately show the true colours of a specimen against the colour in photographs, dioptase is an example, this can be due to settings on your screen.

Search For / Features

Please use these tools for finding specific minerals and the feature section for descriptive terms, I may mention a specimens highlights or where it originated prior to my purchase, in descriptions, explanations can be found in the feature section.

Specimen Sizes

The general terms thumbnail, miniature, small cabinet, cabinet and large cabinet are well know and will be used in descriptions. For the exact size measurement of these known terms use the 'search for' or find it in the 'features' list for the explanation. All descriptions of specimens for sale will state the exact measurements.

The Unimaginable

I cannot foresee everything, should the unimaginable or a bizarre event occur I reserve the right to make the final decision. Should two buyers like the same specimen on the same day then a first come first serve policy will apply, whether by site contact or PayPal payment the first contact is the only fair way.

Minors

Minors (under 18 age) must provide written permission from parents or guardians should they want to purchase any item on this website.

Updates

I do not have a mailing list presently, check back often as they will be added daily for a while.

Without books where would we be! Much knowledge has been gained from many specialist books or articles in mineral magazines that I have certainly benefitted from and as such I can recommend several books should you be looking to expand your own knowledge.
