Brandberg Amethyst Phantom Quartz Crystal

This transparent crystal has natural inclusions of amethyst chevron phantoms from the base spreading through to the termination along with negative quartz with bright reflections and rainbow colours. Has a tiny enhydro trapped no bigger than 1 mm moving in an area of 4 mm as seen under magnification in the centre. The termination is perfect and the crystal has a very fine striations. Rhodochrosite & Gageite

Displayed is many pink rhombs of rhodochrosite on matrix with fibrous gageite on a corner. The rhodo is very translucent to almost transparent with a vitreous lustre with some crystals showing curvature. On the corner is fibrous gageite covering rhodo's, some of these crystals are pale brown or a mixture of both pink and brown. SKU000113 |
