Brandberg smoky Quartz crystal from Namibia

From these mountains comes this quartz with excellent clarity and reflective veils. Smoky and slight amethyst chevron phantoms are in the center along with an enhydro trapped in a cavity of the crystal but very hard to see without magnification, it does move. There are numerous inclusions of red hematite flecks, spherical dark green to black chlorite and colourless calcite crystals. The prisms are striated and the termination is perfect, one of these faces has a very small indentation from a previous hosted crystal. The flat base allows it to stand upright unaided.
