Mimetite crystals on Dolomite from Tsumeb mine Namibia

On dolomite matrix is pale yellow small cauliflower-like mimetite crystals to 5mm with a sparkly lustre. The dolomite matrix has a coppery sound to it and the powdery dark brown orange mineral is probably Tsumcorite (not analysed) and under magnification can see some dark brown copper. Sugilite crystals in massive Sugilte Wessels mine

Displayed is granular dark purple crystals in massive sugilite matrix. Sugilite finds where patchy in several areas of the mine, but not in quantities and found in association with other unusual minerals such as pectolite, andradite, hematite, quartz and wollastonite. On this specimen there is also a light green mineral which is probably pectolite, an unknown clove-brown mineral and a red-brown mineral possibly andradite, all seen under magnification. SKU000060 |

Brandberg Quartz with Hematite & Enhydro

This clear crystal has excellent clarity and packed with negative quartz forms which reflect brightly and emit rainbows. There is a trapped enhydro in the termination and throughout the crystal is flecks of bright red hematite. The termination is perfect and the surface of the quartz is smooth and striated. Gaudefroyite

Displayed is stout and prismatic opaque black crystals of gaudefroyite to 13 mm with dark red andradite and a little beige bematite associated, all on white calcite. Majority of crystals are terminated, they are either embedded into the calcite or protruding out, they are also included in calcite and they can be seen deep in all the calcite crevices as perfect crystals.
